Information We Collect
When you create a Helmly account, we collect your name, email address, and billing information. When you connect WordPress sites, we collect site URLs, plugin/theme data, uptime metrics, and backup metadata. We do not access your WordPress admin credentials or database content directly.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide the Helmly platform services, including site management, AI assistant features, and client intelligence analytics. We analyze aggregate usage data to improve our product. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers managed by Supabase (PostgreSQL) and protected with encryption at rest and in transit. Backups of your WordPress sites are encrypted and stored separately from your account data. We follow industry-standard security practices and regularly audit our infrastructure.
Third-Party Services
Helmly uses the following third-party services to operate: Supabase for database and authentication, Vercel for hosting, Anthropic (Claude AI) for AI assistant features, and Slack for messaging integrations. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how your data is handled within their systems.
Your Rights
You can request a copy of your data, request deletion of your account and associated data, or update your information at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at privacy@gethelmly.com. We respond to all data requests within 30 days.
